Our trip to Rome which was back in April! I will one day become an expert at keeping up to date with blogging. After Amsterdam me and my sister Soph flew straight to Rome for a week of eating gelato, drinking fine wine and exploring the city. It is by far one of the most mouth gawping places to visit; with churches and old architecture everywhere its like walking around an open air museum. After visiting the Colosseum it made me immediately want to watch the film Gladiator! One place that is a must to visit for its breathtaking views and slightly less touristy area to escape the hectic streets is the Gianicolo (Janiculum Hill). We had such an amazing time together I’d love to return, despite the whole week we spent in Rome there’s just so much to absorb.
Long time no post! Sorry for the lack of sharing recently. Due to dull grey skies and rainy days I’ve been uninspired to go out and take pictures. This is an outfit snap that was taken a few months ago on the weekend of my sisters graduation.
The Kenzo shirt is an eye catching piece that I found in a thrift store in Saffron Walden. I was extremely hesitant to buy it because its such a bizarre print but one that has grown on me each time I wear it. I love the story behind the label, that Kenzo Takada’s interest in fashion came from reading his sisters magazines! He then went against his parents wishes and was the first male to attend Bunka Fashion College. In brief … what a legend.

This is my new favourite blazer! I adore the structured neckline and the bright coloured print. Considering colour is something I would usually avoid by nature, its actually quite subtle. I’ve been needing a pair of basic jeans for a while now and these jumped out at me as the perfect staple jeans. I decided to buy them with the length slightly too long to get the ‘rolled up jeans’ denim trend and paired them with heels.
I went slightly mad on Oxford Street, nothing out of the norm at the moment however. I currently seem to have lost all control over my shopping habits! The winter coat pictured was slightly premature as we’re all still waiting for the September heat wave and I’m heading off to Turkey in 10 days. However, I had no intention of actually buying it I merely thought it was the nicest coat I’d ever laid eyes on and so saw no harm in trying it on. Long story short I had a heart attach at the till and cannot wait to wear this!
