It dawned on me tonight as I was sorting through my wardrobe at who knows what hour – because ‘why not’. Every piece of clothing I own has a memory or story attached to it. Be it a thrifted pair of polka dot lookalike pajama bottoms, or a vintage shoulder padded (skanky to some peoples opinions) blazer. Take a second to step back next time your having a sort through and remember all of those times you wore that particular piece of clothing and stop…
It’s pretty crazy. That’s the reason I love everything about the wardrobe I own. I may look at it every morning and think ‘ damn I have nothing to wear’ but at the end of the day, it’s you in every moment, any day. The things you put on your body. This is what makes me the horder I so severely am.

Our trip to Rome which was back in April! I will one day become an expert at keeping up to date with blogging. After Amsterdam me and my sister Soph flew straight to Rome for a week of eating gelato, drinking fine wine and exploring the city. It is by far one of the most mouth gawping places to visit; with churches and old architecture everywhere its like walking around an open air museum. After visiting the Colosseum it made me immediately want to watch the film Gladiator! One place that is a must to visit for its breathtaking views and slightly less touristy area to escape the hectic streets is the Gianicolo (Janiculum Hill). We had such an amazing time together I’d love to return, despite the whole week we spent in Rome there’s just so much to absorb.
Em behind the lens, captured these gorgeous shots as we mooched about in the fields. It’s my favourite time of year when the country fields are suddenly blanketed with such vibrant stunning colour. All I want to do is prance about and listen to the birds sing with not a care in the world. This is one of my favourite shoots so far. The print and colour of this kimono is gorgeous. It will definitely be worn to death throughout summer and holidays!

Today was quite different I spent most of the day at my desk re-instating and re-approving PO’s, maintaining orders and doing the desk amends which is a sloooow process but a learning one all the same. The mood board pictured above I was asked to put together for a summary of what dresses are trending this week in the other high street brands. I’m thoroughly enjoying this weeks experience and am tickled every day by how incredibly serious the army troops of the London commuters are!
I’m spending this week at New Look HQ assisting the buyer who’s in charge of dresses.
First thing I always stress about is my bag!! Have I got everything I might need?
Notepad and pens – you never know when you might need to take notes or to do lists.
aquaphor balm – when battling with office heating this keeps my lips soft and moisturised.
bed head hairspray – simply unbeatable
umbrella – it’s England after all!
I opted for smart casual and was very thankful I didn’t go uber smart as most of the girls in the office were pretty laid back. Some wore converse and a tee, others had gone all out in whopping heels! Quite a diverse office.
( Topshop shirt, jumper, necklace & coat, Zara trousers, Carvela boots, H&M rings, Camden Market bag Vintage scarf )
Everything is so mesmerising when its covered in white! The snowy weather we’ve had lately has been perfect for this coat I picked up from a charity shop recently. It has a cruella deville feel about it that makes me feel like I’ve walked off a 1950’s film set.
